Yoga Service Council | Community Health

The Yoga Service Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting yoga as a tool for social change and providing access to yoga practices for underserved communities. Founded in 2009 by [[yoga-international|Yoga International]] and [[kripalu-center-for-yoga-and-health|Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health]], the council aims to support yoga service providers and organizations in their efforts to bring yoga to marginalized populations. Through its work, the Yoga Service Council has helped to establish yoga programs in schools, prisons, and community centers, and has provided training and resources for yoga teachers and social workers.
