The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is a global organization that has been a champion for the rights and well-being of children since its inception in 1946. UNICEF's efforts are guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which sets out the fundamental rights of children, including the right to survival, development, and protection. Despite significant progress, UNICEF still faces numerous challenges, including poverty, conflict, and climate change, which disproportionately affect children.
