Behavioural Insights Team | Community Health

The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) is a UK-based organization that applies behavioural insights to inform policy and improve public services, following nudge theory. Led by David Halpern, BIT has expanded its work globally, running over 1,800 projects to improve compliance with government policy and decrease social costs. With its roots in the UK Cabinet Office, BIT is now owned by British charity Nesta, leveraging techniques from psychology, behavioral economics, and marketing to influence public thinking and decision making.
